The Visions & Goals Workbook
Five guided worksheets: picture your ideal life, shape it into S.M.A.R.T. goals, map your skills, plan your actions, and connect it all to what matters.

Step 1
Don't filter yourself yet — describe the life you actually want. Specifics beat vague ("a cabin with a writing desk" beats "a nice house").
Five years from now, a perfect ordinary day looks like…
Career & money: what am I doing, and what does it earn me?
Health, relationships & growth: who am I becoming?
Step 2
Pick one item from your vision and sharpen it. Print one copy of this page per goal.
My goal:
S — Specific.
What exactly do you want to accomplish? Describe the specific outcome you're aiming for.
M — Measurable.
How will you measure progress? What numbers, milestones, or indicators will tell you you're on track?
A — Achievable.
What makes this goal realistic? What resources, skills, or support do you need to make it happen?
R — Relevant.
Why does this goal matter to you right now? How does it connect to your bigger vision?
T — Time-bound.
What is your target deadline? What milestones will you hit along the way, and by when?
Step 3
The gap between you and your goal is usually a skill. Name what you have, what you want to learn, and what the goal demands.
Skills I have
Skills to learn
Needed for my goal
Anything in column 3 that isn't in column 1 belongs in your action plan.
Step 4
Small steps with dates. The first step should be doable this week.
| ✓ | Step | Due date |
|---|---|---|
Tip: schedule a weekly check-in with yourself to tick boxes and adjust dates.
Step 5 (optional)
Goals stick when they're connected to something deeper. Answer what resonates; skip what doesn't.
Why does this goal matter to you at a deep level? What value does it represent?
Who else benefits when you achieve this goal? How does it ripple outward?
Imagine you've achieved it. What does a typical day look like? How do you feel?
What legacy or impact do you want this to have on your life or community?
